•Instructional activities: Students see a list of words with a missing letter
and are given a hint as to what each word is to help them figure out each word.
•Assessment: Teacher will collect the list of words at the end of t game to
check o see that the students chose the right missing letter for each word.
•Debriefing: students will be given a paper to fill out that reflects on the
game. The question asked is what did you do in the game and how can this game
help your literacy skills?
•What cognitive skills do this game help to cultivate? This
games helps students recall words they know of from before and plug it into the
appropriate places.
•What new literacies skills do this game help to cultivate? Students
will learn how to play a game on the computer which has features of text,
visual and graphics, and sound.
